INTRODUCTION OF JAJARKOT DISTRICT

 Jajarkot district is a hilly district under Karnali province. The district is located at 28 degrees 49 minutes 22 seconds to 82 degrees 34 minutes 46 seconds east longitude. 610 m above sea level. The main economic source of this district is agriculture. Precious stones such as kainite and tourmaline are found in the northwestern part of the district. Jajarkot is rich in water resources. The national level Nalsingad Hydropower Project is under operation here. Similarly, after the construction of Jajarkot Dolpa, Jajarkot Jumla and Mid-Hill Highway, this district is likely to develop as a business center.

Religious places

People especially from Jumla and Jajarkot come to this religious place and worship on Shravan Purnima. There are more than 7 Dahas in Jajarkot Patti and more than 3 mysterious Dahas in Jumla Patti. From this place you can see the enchanting views of Kanjirova and Kagmara Himal in Jumla and Dolpa.



High mountain

It is the highest mountain in the district. This article covers a wide variety of mountain deer and precious metals. From this article, Kailali, Achham, Surkhet, Delekh, Kalikot, Jumla, Salyan, Rolpa, Dolpa and other mountains can also be seen. Jajarkot as the highest mountain at 5460 m. It is a high snow-capped mountain. Jajarkot Bheri N.P. Dhaulagiri Himal of Baglung district can be clearly seen from the place called Machhina in the east.
